Justin R. Warcup, DDS
As the owner of North Texas Smiles, Dr. Warcup is passionate about providing the best possible pediatric dental care and experience in an energetic, fun, and kid-friendly atmosphere.
Dr. Warcup earned a doctor of dental surgery (DDS) degree at Ohio State University (OSU), where he was on the dean’s list, served as president of the OSU Dental Entrepreneur Society, and co-founded OSU’s La Clinica Latina to provide dental care to an underserved community.
After earning his DDS, Dr. Warcup completed a two-year pediatric specialty residency at State University of New York (SUNY) at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine and at Women and Children’s Hospital of Buffalo. During his residency, Dr. Warcup gained extensive hands-on experience in all aspects of pediatric dentistry and dental trauma, including treating medically compromised and special needs patients.
Dr. Warcup is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, Texas Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, and Fort Worth District Dental Society.
Dr. Warcup practiced in Arizona before settling down in the great state of Texas with his wife and four children. When he is not in the office helping patients or at home enjoying time with his family, Dr. Warcup serves in leadership capacities with youth groups in the community, where he coaches sports teams, leads scouting groups, and helps youth become Fort Worth’s future leaders.

Dr. Amanda Gerlach, DMS, MDS
Dr. Amanda Gerlach grew up in Mesa, Arizona. She attended Juniata College in Huntingdon, Pennsylvania, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Business and Life Sciences. At Juniata, she was a member of both the NCAA women’s volleyball and softball teams.
Dr. Gerlach went on to attend Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine Arizona in Glendale, Arizona, and received her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD). She continued her specialty training by completing a three-year residency at the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, earning her Certificate in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics. In addition, she received her Master of Dental Science (MDS) in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics for her research in empathy among dentists and dental specialists.
Following residency, Dr. Gerlach worked in the Cleft-Craniofacial Center at UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. There she completed a one-year accredited fellowship in craniofacial orthodontics and earned a Certificate in Cleft, Craniofacial, and Special Care Orthodontics from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine Department of Plastic Surgery. During her fellowship, Dr. Gerlach gained extensive clinical experience treating the most complex orthodontic cases, including patients with cleft lip and palate, various craniofacial anomalies, and special needs.
Dr. Gerlach is a member of the American Association of Orthodontics, the Southwestern Society of Orthodontists, the American Cleft Palate-Craniofacial Association, the American Dental Association, and the Texas Dental Association.
In her free time, Dr. Gerlach enjoys all types of exercise, spending time with friends and family, and cheering on her favorite sports teams.
Dr. Allison Gerlach, DMD, MDS
Dr. Allison Gerlach was born and raised in Mesa, Arizona. She attended Juniata College in Huntingdon, Pennsylvania for her undergraduate education. Dr. Gerlach graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business and Life Sciences. During her time at Juniata College, she was a member of the NCAA women’s volleyball and softball teams.
Following graduation, Dr. Gerlach continued her education at Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine in Glendale, Arizona, where she earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD). Her passion for treating children became more evident during her studies at dental school. She was accepted and completed a two-year pediatric dental residency at the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where she received extensive training in all aspects of pediatric dentistry, including sedation techniques, dental trauma, and treating patients with special needs. In addition to completing her Certificate in Pediatric Dentistry, Dr. Gerlach earned a Master of Dental Science in Pediatric Dentistry (MDS) for her research on children’s utilization of Medicaid dental benefits.
Most recently, Dr. Gerlach served as an Assistant Professor in the Pediatric Dentistry Department at the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. In addition to treating pediatric patients in the university’s dental practice, she educated both dental students and pediatric dental residents in various aspects of pediatric dentistry through lectures and clinical instruction.
Dr. Gerlach is an active member of the American Dental Association, the Texas Dental Association, the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, and the Texas Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.
When not in the office, Dr. Gerlach enjoys exploring her new city, working out, and cheering on the Boston Red Sox.
