The Latest Pediatric Dental Technology

In recent years, advancements in dental technology have made every dental treatment more effective and generally more affordable. Technology also allow us to be more efficient and precise, which means your child can receive their dental treatments quickly and safely at our Fort Worth pediatric dental office!

LightScalpel® CO2 Laser

When Dr. Warcup uses the LightScalpel CO2 laser, there is no need for surgical incisions to treat your child’s smile. By using the laser, Dr. Warcup can target specific damaged area and safely vaporize damaged tissue while sealing the blood vessels at the same time.

This means that there is no scarring, minimal bleeding, and a faster recovery time for your child. Treatments can also be completed in a fraction of the time that would be needed if using traditional dental tools, making the LightScalpel CO2 laser ideal for pediatric dental care.

Just like other dental lasers, the LightScalpel CO2 laser is completely safe, especially because Dr. Warcup has received specialized training to perform pediatric dental procedures with this unique tool.

Digital X-Rays

X-rays are a dental technology that is used to help increase accurate diagnosis as well as clinical safety. At North Texas Smiles, we use digital x-ray technology to expose our pediatric dental patients to less radiation than traditional film x-rays. This technology also makes x-rays quick and comfortable, giving your child's digital x-ray images Dr. Warcup immediately.

iTero® Intraoral Digital Scanner

Dr. Warcup commonly uses the iTero digital scanner with pediatric dental patients undergoing Invsalign treatment or other restorative dental treatments. This dental technology allows Dr. Warcup to take a closer look at your child's smile. iTero scans are fast, comfortable, and accurate, which makes the entire process more efficient and ideal for pediatric patients.

This advanced dental technology also features a touch-screen tool that lets Dr. Warcup make real-time adjustments to the possible smile outcome for each patient, so if you’re not satisfied with what you’re seeing for your child, we can make a few adjustments to your child's proposed dental treatment.

At North Texas Smiles, we utilize the most advanced dental technology to help each patient create their best smile! Give our Fort Worth dental office a call today to schedule your child's next appointment.
